Tages Capital SGR acquires a portfolio of two Biomethane RTB plants in Southern Italy (Puglia and Basilicata).

Tages Capital SGR, through its fund Tages Helios Net Zero, has acquired a portfolio consisting of two Biomethane RTB plants located in Puglia and Basilicata, specifically in the provinces of Foggia and Potenza.
The seller is Finpower Project S.r.l., a company active for over 20 years in the development of renewable energy projects.
The Commercial Operation Date of the plants is expected in the first half of 2026, and the biomethane production will be entirely sourced from agricultural by-products, livestock effluents, and agricultural production waste. The produced biomethane will be injected into the gas grid via the SNAM delivery point. Additionally, the plants are already eligible under the incentive scheme provided by D.M. 2022.
This transaction marks a further step in the decarbonization of the national energy system and confirms the growing interest of investors in agricultural biomethane as a strategic lever for the energy transition.
The deal also reflects Banca Akros’s continued commitment to the Energy sector, particularly in the renewables space, where biomethane is emerging as a promising area of growth in Italy.
